Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of main line automotive technician experience.
• Must have personal set of tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Ability to read and comprehend written service documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the express service department.
• Train, mentor, and support express service technicians.
• Dispatch repair orders and manage workflow to prevent bottlenecks.
• Monitor technician productivity and adherence to schedules.
• Perform vehicle inspections and communicate service needs to advisors.
• Support technicians during peak periods to maintain workflow.
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts.
• Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and report findings.
