Fred Haas Toyota Country in Houston, TX is seeking an Express Supervisor to lead the express service department. This full-time role requires coordinating daily operations, training technicians, dispatching repair orders, and maintaining workflow during peak periods.

You will monitor technician performance, perform vehicle inspections, communicate service needs to advisors, and ensure high-quality service while upholding safety standards.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of main line automotive technician experience.
• Must have personal set of tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Ability to read and comprehend written service documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced shop.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of the express service department.
• Train, mentor, and support express service technicians to ensure consistent performance.
• Dispatch repair orders and manage workflow to prevent bottlenecks.
• Monitor technician productivity and hold team members accountable to schedules.
• Perform vehicle inspections and communicate service needs to advisors.
• Support technicians during peak periods to maintain workflow.
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication of moving parts.
• Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and report findings accordingly.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of main line automotive technician experience.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Must have personal set of tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and service documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Automotive certifications or technical training is a plus.

Physical Demands
