Job summary

UT Dallas is seeking a Special Programs Coordinator for Experiential Learning in Richardson. The role focuses on coordinating experiential learning initiatives, employer site visits, job shadowing, and industry-integrated projects to streamline operations and enhance student outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of related experience; a Master’s in a relevant field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 3-5 years experience providing support to programs or projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree in Higher Education, Human Resources, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating experiential learning programs and expanding student access to career exploration and industry experiences.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for Comet Treks, including student engagement, event planning, logistics, communications, and assessment.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify and expand experiential learning and internship opportunities.
• Coordinate employer-focused programs and events, including challenges and hackathons.
• Coordinate the job shadowing program, including student communications and logistics.
• Support industry-integrated projects in courses by connecting faculty and students with employer partners.
