Job summary

The University Career Center at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Special Programs Coordinator for Experiential Learning to coordinate and logistics of employer site visits, job shadowing, and industry projects, aligning them with academic courses and program goals.

You will build partnerships with employers, manage multiple projects, and support students and faculty with internship and experiential learning processes, driving program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3–5 years experience supporting programs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating experiential learning programs and logistics for career exploration and industry experiences.
• Serve as primary coordinator for Comet Treks, employer site visits, engaging students and planning events.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and national employers to expand internship opportunities.
• Coordinate employer-focused programs and events, including challenges, hackathons, and competitions.
• Coordinate job shadowing programs, including communications and logistics.
• Support industry-integrated projects in courses by connecting faculty and employer partners.
