Job summary

University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson seeks a Director of Industry Projects to lead UTDSolv, developing and scaling a portfolio of industry-sponsored projects that deliver meaningful experiential learning for students. You will manage sourcing, scoping, execution, assessment, and reporting across the program.

The role reports to the Management department and requires strategic collaboration with academic units and industry partners to expand opportunities and ensure program impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.
• Master's degree & 5+ yrs relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of industry-sponsored projects that support experiential learning across UT Dallas.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure projects from corporations, startups, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. Manage a portfolio of at least 50 unique industry-sponsored projects per semester.
• Serve as the primary liaison between UTDSolv and external stakeholders, representing the program at networking events, conferences, corporate meetings, and community engagements.
