Job summary

Meydenbauer Center is seeking an Event Manager to transform client visions into unforgettable events in Bellevue. You will lead client engagements, coordinate catering, plan logistics, and oversee from concept through on-site execution, ensuring exceptional service.

Ideal candidates are organized multitaskers with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of handling evening, weekend, and holiday events in a dynamic venue environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Sales, Advertising or another related field.
• Two years of experience in event coordination/planning, sales or a comparable position at a convention facility, hotel or other multi-use public assembly facility.
• One year of computer experience involving the Microsoft Office Suite and Social Tables is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages client progress from lead status, booking, planning, and organizing, to onsite set-up and event execution.
• Maintains a positive and professional image and builds rapport with clients and prospective clients.
• Promptly follows up with sales contacts and leads.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of Meydenbauer Center capabilities for sales and planning.
• Plans client events after needs determined, coordinates catering and services, and prepares floor plans and diagrams.
• Communicates event logistics to internal teams to ensure successful programs.
