Job summary

Access Destination Services is seeking an Events Manager for the DC or Boston area. You will work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional events and drive operational excellence, from client service to vendor coordination and staff leadership.

You will own budgets, negotiate contracts, manage staff and vendors, and upsell services to enhance the client experience. Strong collaboration with Sales and Creative teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience managing multiple clients and programs.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing events.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and team-oriented
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational solutions to clients, seeking improvements and efficiencies.
• Manage all vendors required for a program.
• Own the Statement of Work, deposits, and final invoicing.
• Manage event staff during the event and prepare them beforehand.
• Upsell services to improve the client experience.
• Own the budget with a goal of achieving gross profits.
• Coordinate with hotel conference service managers for seamless partnership.
• Maintain Salesforce records for ASO’s and vendors, and ensure vetted vendors.
• Ensure KPIs and key results are measured and met.
