Granger Medical Clinic in Murray, UT is seeking an Experienced Surgery Scheduler to coordinate scheduling of surgeries, procedures, imaging, referrals, and pre-operative services. This role applies clinical knowledge to ensure accurate scheduling per provider orders and protocols.

The position requires EMR proficiency, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining patient service excellence. Some travel to nearby urology locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Prior experience in surgery scheduling or medical office scheduling required.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage priorities, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of office- and hospital-based procedures and surgeries and complete required facility documentation.
• Schedule diagnostic and imaging services and ensure informed consent documentation compliance.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm equipment and supplies availability for procedures.
• Review patient medications and medical history to identify testing requirements and notes.
• Coordinate and obtain required medical and urological clearances.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and additional testing as directed.
• Perform other duties to support departmental and organizational objectives.
