Job summary

Gullo Mazda of Conroe is seeking a results-driven Service Advisor to manage a high-performing service drive and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is not an entry-level role and requires experience in controlling a repair order, communicating with technicians and clients, and achieving strong CSI and sales performance.

The position requires availability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule, and candidates should be able to greet customers, collect accurate information,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to build trust with customers and close recommended services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department.
• Greet every client promptly and professionally.
• Collect and verify customer information on every repair order (Full Name, Address, Email, Phone).
• Write clear, thorough customer concerns on every repair order.
• Ensure all repair orders are complete, legible, and properly authorized before work begins.
• Present maintenance recommendations and needed repairs with professionalism and integrity.
• Provide accurate estimates and explain diagnostic and repair processes.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding status updates.
• Document all approvals, declines, and communications on the repair order.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure proper dispatching and workflow.
• Monitor each repair order from write-up through delivery to minimize delays.
• Review completed work with customers at delivery.

Gullo Mazda of Conroe is seeking aresults-driven, experienced Service Advisorwho understands how to manage a high-performing service drive while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This isnot an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already knows how to control a repair order, communicate effectively with technicians and clients, and consistently deliver strong performance in both customer satisfaction and sales.

Schedule Requirement:
This position requiresavailability to work Saturdaysas part of the regular schedule.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department
• Greet every client promptly and professionally no differentiation between customer pay and warranty
• Accuratelycollect and verify customer information on every repair order:
  • Full Name
  • Address
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
• Write clear, thorough, and accurate customer concernson every repair order (no shortcuts, no assumptions)
• Ensure all repair orders are complete, legible, and properly authorized before work begins
• Present maintenance recommendations and needed repairs with professionalism and integrity
• Provide accurate estimates and clearly explain diagnostic and repair processes
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the day regarding status updates
• Document all approvals, declines, and communications on the repair order
• Work closely with technicians to ensure proper dispatching and workflow
• Monitor each repair order from write-up through delivery to minimize delays and rechecks
• Review completed work with customers and ensure full understanding at delivery

Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

• Consistently maintain:
  • Strong CSI performance in line with manufacturer standards
  • Accurate and complete repair order documentation
  • Effective communication with both customers and internal team
• Execute the fundamentalsevery single time:
  • Complete and accurate customer data
  • Properly written customer complaints
  • Clean, compliant repair orders
  • Timely follow-up and updates

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build trust with customers and close recommended services
• Familiarity with dealership systems and processes preferred
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
