Job summary

Fields Porsche Jacksonville is seeking a positive, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our luxury dealership team. You will greet clients, assess vehicle concerns, and document repairs in the DMS with a clear, value‑driven communication style.

You will translate findings into detailed estimates, manage warranties and service programs, and monitor workflow to ensure timely, high‑quality vehicle returns while maintaining strong CSI scores.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years as automotive Service Advisor experience
• Experience with luxury/high-line brands preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to translate diagnostic findings into clear explanations for customers

Responsibilities

• Client relations: Greet customers promptly, listen to vehicle concerns, and set realistic promised times for completion.
• Vehicle inspection & intake: Conduct walk-around inspections, document vehicle condition and warning lights, and open accurate repair orders in the DMS.
• Consultation & estimates: Translate technical findings into clear, value-focused explanations; provide detailed parts-and-labor estimates.
• Warranty & compliance: Administer factory warranty policies, extended warranties, and service programs per Porsche standards.
• Workflow management: Monitor repair progress, communicate status updates, and verify quality checks before vehicle return.
• Satisfaction metrics: Maintain high CSI scores (typical target 96.0+ or brand target).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 3+ years of experience as an automotive Service Advisor, preferably with Porsche, luxury, or high-line brands.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems, performance vehicles, and diagnostic workflows.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a refined, customer-first demeanor.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), scheduling software, and CRM tools.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; post-secondary automotive training is a strong asset.
