Job summary

Vail Resorts in Keystone, CO seeks Winter Seasonal Security staff for the 2026/2027 season. You will interact with guests and employees, assist with vehicle jump-starts, unlocks, alarms, and basic first aid while following resort procedures.

Starting wage is $21.00–$25.20 per hour, with full-time hours and housing available. Employment is seasonal, with benefits including free passes, discounts, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent -required.
• Valid US Driver's license -required.
• Customer service skills and experience -required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal -required.
• Great interpersonal skills -required.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions -required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds -required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time -required.
• Able to bend, crawl, climb, lift, kneel and crouch -required.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings -required.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and employees.
• Assisting guests and employees with vehicle jump-starts, vehicle-unlocks, intrusion alarms and motor vehicle accidents.
• Basic First Aid response.
• Enacting general emergency procedures in conjunction with resort policies.
• Basic understanding of emergency and law enforcement services and procedures within the county.
• Managing and resolving tier-two customer service issues.
• Enforcing all property regulations.
• Traffic control and pedestrian safety on roadways within the resort and coming into the resort.
• Writing and filing reports.
• Additional duties may include inspecting AEDs, managing and/or making keys, updating locks and keys and more.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $25.20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
