Job summary

Vail Resorts in United States (Pennsylvania) is hiring for the winter season as an entry-level Security Agent to protect people and property across hotel, office, restaurant, and retail locations. The role includes patrols, emergency responses, and detailed reporting, with a focus on diligence and guest experience.

Compensation ranges from $20.00/hr to $22.92/hr, with full-time hours during Summer Seasonal 2026 and flexible night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Education – high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience preferred, Previous Hotel experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outside in varying and extreme weather conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• The role you are being hired into requires further background check clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, which will need to be completed before you can begin work.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
• Assisting/interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide a high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code
• Submitting thorough and clear reports
• Cooperating with law enforcement in investigations.
• Use radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from Police, Fire, or Emergency Services as the situation dictates
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the Night Manager, Security Supervisor or other Management Team members
