Job summary

Vail Resorts in Vermont is hiring seasonal Retail/Rental associates for winter 2026/27. You will help guests rent and fit equipment, provide excellent service, and upsell products while working as part of a lively mountain team.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr with opportunities for training, discounts on lift tickets and gear, and access to wellness benefits. Applicants must be able to work flexible schedules and communicate fluently in English.

Retail/Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment (Boot Fitting) and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
