Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Float Pool serving Intermediate/Stepdown units in Durham, NC. The role offers cross-unit coverage, comprehensive benefits, and a $5.00/hour Float Pool premium, with opportunities for professional growth across multiple clinical areas.

Eligible nurses include those with ADN/ Diploma/ BSN, at least 1 year of RN experience, and NC or compact-state licensure.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited ADN, Diploma, or BSN program.
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Intermediate/Stepdown or acute care preferred).
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NIH, CPI preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across Intermediate and Stepdown units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in patient rounds.
• Manage patient assignments with varying ratios based on acuity.
• Adapt care plans using critical thinking across clinical settings.
• Support a care environment with Charge Nurses, CNAs, and HUCs.
