Job summary

The role covers Med-Surgical, Critical Care, and Pediatric units across Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, and Duke Raleigh Hospital, with a focus on delivering high-quality, family-centered care.

Ideal candidates have 12 months of RN experience and must hold a BSN/ASN/ Diploma with NC licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) OR Associate's Degree in Nursing OR Nursing Diploma program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care using the nursing process and physician orders.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Assist nursing personnel and act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Monitor environment and resources to maintain quality of care.
• Participate in professional development and opportunities for improvement.
