Job summary

Duke Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for the Float Pool across Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, and Duke Raleigh Hospital. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN, Diploma, or BSN program.
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Intermediate/Stepdown or acute care preferred).
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in Intermediate and Stepdown units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds.
• Manage patient assignments with ratios 1:3 to 1:6 based on acuity.
• Support care environment with Charge Nurses and Health Unit Coordinators.
