Job summary

One Door North in San Diego's North Park is seeking an experienced line cook (2+ years) to join our established kitchen team. You’ll work with a fast-paced, chef-driven operation, executing dishes to spec with pride and consistency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven line cook experience in a high-volume or chef-driven kitchen.

Line Cook (Experienced)

One Door North | North Park, San Diego

One Door North is hiring an experienced line cook (2+ years) to join our established kitchen team. This position is for a cook who wants to work, executes consistently, and takes pride in doing things the right way every time.

We’re looking for a professional line cook who understands systems, moves with urgency, and executes at a high level during service.

Hours Subject to Change but looking for someone to do shifts Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues

What Success Looks Like in This Role

• You can cook fast without cutting corners
• You follow recipes, specs, and plating standards exactly
• You understand proper prep techniques and why they matter
• You know when something is off (broken sauce, over-reduced, poor texture) and fix it
• You show up on time, ready to work, and support the team
