Job summary

Jobsonboard is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Wire EDM experience for our Knoxville, TN facility. The role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC equipment to manufacture high-precision components while maintaining strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing inspections, and ensuring parts meet dimensional and quality requirements. Applicants should have 4+ years of CNC experience and be able to work independently with minimal

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on experience with Wire EDM machinery.
• Proficiency setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Strong math and trigonometry skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code at controls.
• Install and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment.
