Job summary

Jobsonboard is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with Wire EDM expertise for our Knoxville, TN shop. You will set up, run, and program CNC equipment, ensuring high-precision parts meet stringent quality standards.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, proficiency with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on experience with Wire EDM machinery.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• G-code programming and editing proficiency.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Strong math and trigonometry skills.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code programs at machine controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.
