Job summary

Jobsonboard in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with Wire EDM expertise to join our manufacturing team in a full-time role.

You will set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines to produce high-precision components while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate works independently, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong GD&T reading skills and experience with Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on experience with Wire EDM machinery.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code at machine controls.
• Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision instruments.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
