Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Cosmetology license and/or cosmetology management license where required by state law.
• 2–3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets and controlling expenses.
• Cosmetology management: advanced competency in services, guest experience, and hiring requirements.
• Retail management: proven ability with inventory, service culture, and merchandise directives.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals related to services, boutiques, retail sales, and loyalty.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth and expense control.
• Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to support scheduling and productivity.
• Address underperforming metrics by developing strategies using company programs and resources to improve these areas.
• Support direct reports in developing and maintaining their clientele.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Stay informed on new industry trends and products to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance and enforce Ulta Beauty attendance policy.
