Job summary

The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Collection in Los Olivos is looking for an Experience Host to curate immersive, personalized experiences for our guests. You will craft memorable moments and ensure guests feel connected to the magic of our unique property.

You will organize activities, provide local information, resolve issues promptly, and collaborate with Marketing and Operations to elevate every guest stay at this Santa Ynez Valley landmark.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-end guest service or hospitality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Calm and composed under pressure
• Ability to work across departments to deliver experiences
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and POS systems
• Willingness to learn about local area attractions and experiences
• Knowledge of the Inn and Santa Ynez Valley appreciated

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests to understand preferences
• Organize and coordinate activities, events, or experiences for guests
• Provide information about facilities, services, and local attractions
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate communication between guests and departments
• Develop narratives around experiences and the property
• Conduct inventory and manage OS&E related to experiences
• Place orders and maintain inventory levels
• Support planning and execution of retail pop-up events
• Educate team members to promote and deliver experiences
• Maintain documentation and reporting across operations
• Register guests and manage data in the WAY POS system
• Use Lightspeed and other systems to support daily operations
