The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Collection in Los Olivos, CA is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to craft seamless events. You will prepare function rooms, set up equipment, and ensure guest spaces meet resort standards, acting as the silent architect behind memorable moments.

This role requires the ability to lift heavy items, work flexible hours including weekends, and collaborate with a team to deliver flawless service.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to timelines for set-ups.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, with occasional heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

• Cleans function rooms prior to set-up.
• Sets equipment to daily work sheet specifications.
• Provides required amenities per resort standards.
• Refreshes meeting rooms during breaks.
• Breaks down meeting rooms after functions.
• Completes special projects as directed by management.
• Moves conference materials and equipment between locations.
• Care for equipment and accommodate special customer needs.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
• Install/remove air walls where applicable.
• Assist with service areas and other management requests.
