Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking an Expo to ensure smooth flow from kitchen to dining area and to coordinate between kitchen staff, servers, and management for exceptional service.

You will coordinate orders, maintain presentation quality, and assist during peak hours while following health and safety guidelines. At least sixteen years old and adept at multitasking with POS familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• High-volume restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to learn POS software used by bar or restaurant.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kitchen and servers to ensure timely and accurate food prep.
• Relay order details and special requests between staff and management.
• Monitor order flow to maintain correct sequence and timing.
• Ensure plates leaving the kitchen meet quality standards and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and assist during busy periods.
• Support kitchen during peak hours and assist with plating when needed.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with takeout and delivery expediting as needed.
