Aspen Dental in Kentucky is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support doctors, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate charting and sterilization. You will perform radiographs and expanded functions as permitted by your certification, while upholding safety and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or certification as required by state.
• Radiology certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification current.
• 2+ years of dental assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during procedures and maintain patient flow.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and safety procedures.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on oral care.
• Order and maintain supplies within practice budget.
• Perform expanded functions as certified when needed.
• Train staff on patient handoffs and workflow.
