Job summary

Aspen Dental Group in Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support dentists across a range of procedures, prepare operatory rooms, maintain sterilization, and manage patient flow with four-handed dentistry.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry.
• Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state.
• State Certification in expanded functions as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direction to DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes and ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety.
• Take dental radiographs and provide patient instructions for oral care.
