Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support daily patient care and operations. The role involves assisting doctors, maintaining operatory setup, sterilization, and documenting patient care with attention to HIPAA guidelines.

You will take dental radiographs, educate patients on oral health, and help manage patient flow while ensuring safety standards and proper training of staff on procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant License/Registration/Certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform sterilization processes for equipment and operatory.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Prepare operatory and tray setups for procedures; monitor patient flow.
