Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support daily patient care and ensure smooth operatory flow. You will assist doctors, manage instrument sterilization, and support patient charting while maintaining a high standard of infection control.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of Dental Assistant experience.
• Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry.
• Radiology certification required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with directing the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory; ensure staff are trained on process.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies.
