Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking an Executive Vice President – Branch Manager & Commercial/Agricultural Lending Lead for our Spencer, IA location. This on-site role oversees the branch, funds management, ALCO activities, and strategic budgeting while servicing a robust portfolio of Commercial and Agricultural loans.

The position requires extensive banking leadership experience, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive branch performance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive banking industry experience.
• 15+ years of direct Commercial Lending experience.
• 15+ years of direct Agricultural Lending experience.
• Proven executive leadership with branch management experience.
• Strong funds management and ALCO participation background.
• Demonstrated track record in business development and portfolio growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Spencer branch employees and oversee daily operations.
• Participate in funds management activities and ALCO decision-making.
• Provide strategic input for annual budgets, profit forecasts, and operational improvements.
• Coordinate branch activities with banking policies, regulatory standards, and procedures.
• Act as senior Loan Officer, developing and servicing a portfolio focused on Commercial and Agricultural loans.
• Drive portfolio growth through new loan generation and relationship management.
• Represent the institution in civic and business engagements with external entities.
