Job summary

TS Bank in Treynor, IA seeks a VP of Agriculture and Business Banking to originate, underwrite and close secured and unsecured loans, while building strong client relationships and guiding lending strategies.

The role requires deep knowledge of agricultural finance, commercial lending, and compliance. Lead collaboration with credit analysts, bankers and customers to grow the loan portfolio and cross-sell bank services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business with accounting/finance/economics courses.
• Minimum five years banking experience; education may substitute.
• Postgraduate banking education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to evaluate bank products meeting financial needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships across staff and clients during loan process.
• Promote credit and loan services to prospective clients.
• Lead loan origination, underwriting, and closing of ag and business loans.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with credit analysts to package loan requests for approval.
• Support growth of the loan portfolio and cross-sell bank products.
