Job summary

Availa Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the retail team in an assigned Iowa branch. You will oversee staffing, coaching, and sales goals while expanding both consumer and treasury relationships.

Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure quality service, drive deposits, and manage facilities and operations. The role requires leadership experience in banking, excellent communication, and the ability to train staff on policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to three years' banking experience preferred.
• Prior experience managing a department and/or groups of people required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy; basic keyboarding skills.
• Strong math skills; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain retail staffing across all assigned branches.
• Attract business and consumer relationships through internal and external sales and customer service strategies.
• Direct training for staff, including policy/procedure, sales, and customer service.
• Supervise and provide work direction to assigned staff.
• Responsible for assigning work duties and examining work for quality, efficiency, and conformance to policies and procedures as needed.
• Perform the functions of all retail staff positions as needed to ensure quality service to all customers.
