The Baltimore City Office of Information and Technology (BCIT) seeks an End User Support Specialist II to serve as the first point of contact for executive level and other high-profile clients seeking technical assistance.

This executive level support desktop technician will represent BCIT, perform troubleshooting, identify IT needs, and determine the best solution for issues, with on-site coverage and 24/7 on-call availability across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Two years of related technical experience required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted.
• ITIL 4 / A+ / Network+ certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for executive level and VIP clients seeking technical assistance.
• Identify and document IT needs, perform troubleshooting, and determine the best solution for issues.
• Provide on-site coverage within assigned departments including remote/satellite locations, with 7x24x365 on-call coverage.
