Job summary

Rugiet Health is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly with the executive team in Austin. You will translate high-level priorities into concrete plans, drive cross-functional initiatives, and own the operating cadence with leadership meetings and OKRs.

The role requires MBA background (preferred) and 2–5 years in consulting, banking, PE/VC, or high-growth startups, with a strong emphasis on detail, analytics, and discretion.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred (top-tier program strongly preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or high-growth startup environments
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and work closely with operators who scaled and exited businesses
• Maniacal attention to detail and a willingness to work in high-tempo environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft board decks and deliver hard messages
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Low ego and high ownership; able to contribute at midnight or during strategic discussions
• Discretion and trustworthiness with sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, translating priorities into concrete execution plans
• Drive cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution with clear accountability
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, and executive communications with precision
• Own the operating cadence: leadership meetings, OKRs, and performance tracking
• Dive into high-priority problems with market analysis, org design, and process improvements
• Serve as a trusted sounding board and gatekeeper for the CEO’s time and priorities
• Represent the executive team in meetings to ensure decisions are captured and followed up on
• Identify inefficiencies and build systems/processes to fix them
