Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services to lead high-impact advisory projects for higher education clients. You will work with boards, presidents, and senior leaders, delivering data-driven insights and strategic guidance across research terrains.

The role requires building senior-level relationships, delivering compelling narratives, and supporting business development while travel remains a key component.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, with 5+ years of post-graduate, professional experience; or 4+ years with advanced degree
• Experience working with client executives, either at a college/university, district, or school, or as a consultant/advisor
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills with senior-level executives

Responsibilities

• Terrain Mastery: develop expertise across research terrains and provide strategic guidance to university leadership
• Deliver insights through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-site presentations
• Collaborate with partners to diagnose problems, guide decisions, and propose solutions
• Generate original insights and content in assigned areas (blogs, briefings, etc.)
• Support research collaboration and cross-functional activities
