Job summary

Papa Razzi Wellesley is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will work with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage prep and line cooks, and ensure a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced, Italian scratch-cooking environment.

The role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within Newport Restaurant Group's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a full-service establishment.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred, but exceptional experience accepted.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of kitchen operations and coordination of all kitchen activities.
• Daily monitoring of prep production and quality checks of all mise en place prior to service.
• Ensures a quality guest experience through oversight of employees preparing and cooking food.
• Ongoing development of BOH employees and kitchen supervisory positions.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing/storage.
