Job summary

Newport Restaurant Group's Papa Razzi Wellesley is seeking a motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You will work with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high quality guest experiences.

You bring leadership, strong coordination, and a passion for ingredients and technique. The role requires 2+ years as a sous chef and offers competitive pay of $65,000 to $75,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of kitchen operations and coordination of all kitchen activities including private dining
• Daily monitoring of prep production and quality checks of all mise en place prior to service
• Ensures a quality guest experience through oversight of employees preparing and cooking food
• Ongoing development of BOH employees and kitchen supervisory positions
• Assist with inventory and purchasing/storage
• Production of daily specials
