Job summary

Hai Hospitality is seeking an experienced Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef for its busy West Hollywood kitchens. This role focuses on leading a culinary team, maintaining high standards in a scratch kitchen, and contributing to an energetic restaurant culture.

You will mentor cooks and chefs, manage operations across stations, and handle scheduling, inventory, and other administrative duties while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume kitchens.
• Excellent communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, mentor and develop a culinary team of cooks and chefs.
• Manage culinary standards in a high-volume scratch kitchen.
• Assist and float through all kitchen stations.
• Cook great food in a modern kitchen.
• Handle ordering, scheduling, inventory and related admin duties.
