Job summary

The Plaza Rehab and Nursing Center seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead operations, ensure quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance. The Administrator will drive strategic growth, financial performance, and staff engagement while upholding federal, state, and local requirements.

Reporting to the CEO/COO/ownership, the role requires strong leadership, CMS knowledge, and the ability to partner with clinical, admissions, and support services to optimize

Qualifications

• Current LNHA license.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing home administrator experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CMS regulations.
• Strong financial and operational management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all facility operations.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
• Lead department heads through regular leadership meetings and performance reviews.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, State Department of Health, OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations.
• Ensure survey readiness and oversee corrective action plans following state surveys.
• Monitor quality measures and Five-Star Quality Rating performance.
• Oversee budgeting, labor costs, agency utilization, census, and expenses.
• Review monthly financial statements and approve capital expenditures.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and manage vendor contracts.
