Job summary

Legacy Healthcare seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a skilled nursing facility, ensuring safe, compliant, resident-centered care and strong financial performance. The LNHA will guide the interdisciplinary team and drive operational strategy.

This role requires effective regulatory readiness and collaboration with families, physicians, vendors, and community partners while maintaining staffing, quality metrics, and adherence to CMS and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and licensing requirements.
• Maintain a strong culture of resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
• Lead and support department directors and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor metrics and implement corrective actions to improve quality and performance.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate facility policies and procedures.
• Prepare for regulatory surveys, audits, inspections, and investigations.
• Develop and monitor the annual operating budget, census goals, labor costs, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor staffing, recruitment, retention, and workforce performance.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Oversee QA/QI activities and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
