Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Management Liability Practice Leader to develop and execute a differentiated national strategy. You will lead a team in delivering expert coverage solutions, market insight, and risk management guidance across Directors & Officers, EPL, and fiduciary areas.

The role collaborates with Producers, Account Teams, and carriers to drive growth, elevate client outcomes, and advance IOA’s position as a leading provider of management liability solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of management liability experience in underwriting, brokering, or sales.
• Deep expertise in D&O, EPL, fiduciary liability, crime, and related executive risk coverages.
• Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and insurance technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of IOA’s Management Liability practice strategy.
• Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, and product offerings to identify optimal solutions.
• Provide guidance on D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and related management liability coverages.
• Deliver coverage recommendations through market navigation, policy analysis, and RFP support.
• Design and implement risk management strategies.
• Develop benchmarking tools with IOA’s Data team.
• Oversee Management Liability content and educational resources across channels.
• Support producers with technical expertise and strategic guidance for complex engagements.
• Participate in select client meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with producers, carrier partners, and internal teams to support service excellence.
• Monitor regulatory developments and market trends affecting management liability programs.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen performance and scalability.
• Maintain high level of management liability knowledge and guide internal teams.
• Demonstrate IOA values in all interactions.
