Job summary

Certum Legal Solutions is seeking a seasoned Head of Single Event Operations to build and run a standalone, fee-for-service PI operations unit. You will own the case lifecycle from intake to disbursement, lead multiple pods, and drive process improvements on a Salesforce-based platform with AI ownership shared with the COO/CTO.

The role requires hands-on PI operations leadership, strong tech fluency, and the gravitas to partner with C-level executives while scaling a high-volume operation across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or legal-operations credential a plus.
• 8+ years in personal-injury case-operations leadership, with scope growth.
• Hands-on single-event PI operating experience across auto, trucking, premises, nursing-home, catastrophic injury.
• Technology-forward and AI-native with ability to master a modern, centralized stack quickly.
• Experience designing, standing up and defending a pod model and its economics at scale.
• Remote/multi-location leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the single-event lifecycle end-to-end from intake to disbursement.
• Build and lead a multi-location team of managers across pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement.
• Architect workflows in a modern case-management system and own dashboards/exception reporting.
• Define intake data requirements and scale the operation to thousands of matters.
• Co-own AI/automation rollout with COO/CTO and balance automation with human judgment.
