Job summary

Altera in San Jose, CA is seeking a VIP IT & AV Support Specialist on a fixed‑term contract. You will provide high‑touch IT and hands‑on AV support for executives, ensuring their technology and meeting experiences are seamless across on‑site and remote settings.

Responsibilities include setting up conference rooms, supporting Teams/Zoom Rooms, troubleshooting complex IT/AV issues, and acting as a single point of contact for VIP users. Occasional travel to executive residences may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support, with at least 2 years supporting executive or VIP users.
• Hands‑on AV support for conference rooms, town halls and events.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of MS Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and meeting room AV systems.
• Familiarity with AV components: cameras, mics, speakers, displays, room controllers.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated IT and AV support to executives onsite and remotely with high‑touch service.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, mobile devices and collaboration tech issues.
• Set up and support conference room AV systems and video conferencing equipment.
• Perform pre‑meeting tech checks to ensure rooms and presentations run smoothly.
• Maintain documentation of AV configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, facilities and other teams to resolve issues.
• Offer after‑hours and on‑call support; travel to executive residences when needed.
