Job summary

Altera is seeking a VIP IT & AV Support Specialist on a contract basis to deliver white-glove IT and hands-on AV support to executives. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and collaboration systems, both onsite in San Jose and remotely, ensuring meetings run smoothly and data remains confidential.

Responsibilities include setting up conference rooms, managing Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, pre‑meeting checks, after‑hours support, and occasional travel to executive residences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience, including executive or VIP users.
• Hands-on AV and conference room technology experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated IT and AV support to executives onsite and remotely.
• Deliver white-glove, responsive service with professionalism and discretion.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, and collaboration tech.
• Set up and troubleshoot conference room AV systems and video conferencing equipment.
• Pre‑meeting tech checks to ensure rooms and presentations run smoothly.
• Monitor executive tech environments and coordinate with other IT teams.
• Offer after-hours and on‑call support, including travel to executive residences.
