Job summary

Sage Haus in Purcellville, VA is seeking a Part-Time House Manager and Personal Assistant to support daily operations of a historic Virginia property. The role offers 12–15 hours per week with flexible blocks and occasional overnight pet sitting.

Compensation ranges from $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience, with start ASAP. You will manage calendars, coordinate vendors, oversee household systems, and care for three cats and a dog while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable personal vehicle required
• Comfortable with and no allergies to cats and dogs.
• Strong English communication skills required, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily home resets to keep the home tidy and guest-ready.
• Light tidying: dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas.
• Create and maintain household organization systems.
• Coordinate donation drop-offs and/or assist with resale.
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel.
• Coordinate, vet, and oversee housekeepers and contractors.
• Be present during vendor appointments and ensure work is completed to standard.
• Manage outdoor spaces, including pool area.
• Coordinate veterinary visits and provide emergency transport if needed.
• Overnight house and pet sitting during travel periods.
• Manage family calendar (iCalendar) and admin tasks.
