Job summary

Forest Dunes in northern Michigan seeks a General Manager to lead all resort operations, guest experiences and long-term growth. You will partner with department heads to drive strategy, budgets and capital projects while upholding brand standards and exceptional service.

You will oversee Reservations, Golf Operations, Lodging, F&B, Real Estate and HOA activities, build a culture of hospitality, develop teams, and deliver strong financial results in a premier golf destination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Golf Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in executive leadership at a reputable golf club, destination golf resort, high end hospitality or similar club experiences.
• Proven success managing complex multi-department golf resort operations.
• Strong financial management and P&L oversight experience.
• Experience leading large teams in high-service hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with department heads to lead all resort operations and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and execute annual strategic plans, operating budgets, and capital improvements.
• Partner with ownership on long-term growth strategies and capital planning.
• Set performance benchmarks and service standards across departments.
• Oversee Reservations, Golf Operations, Lodging, F&B, Real Estate, and HOA, ensuring seamless service.
• Drive revenue growth across golf, rooms, events, retail, and memberships.
• Maintain brand standards, safety, and operational excellence across the resort.
