Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a Director of EHS who will oversee all EHS functions across multiple manufacturing and mining sites. This role will lead strategic initiatives to foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, along with 10 years of EHS leadership experience in industrial settings. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including competitive salary and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in Mining (MSHA) and/or Manufacturing (OSHA); preference for both.
• Professional certifications such as CSP or CHMM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year EHS roadmap aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead managers and staff, providing mentorship to EHS leads.
• Maintain compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, and state/local requirements.
