Job summary

University of Texas at Austin seeks a Chief Executive Education Officer to lead Texas Executive Education and drive strategic growth. This senior role reports to the Dean of the McCombs School of Business and focuses on revenue, client relationships, and program excellence at a nationally recognized campus.

The role oversees a talented team, partners with faculty, and shapes executive programs that align with industry demand and the School’s strengths.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in business development, management consulting, executive education, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead and grow a revenue-generating organization or business unit.
• Demonstrated track record of building and sustaining senior-level corporate relationships and closing complex engagements.
• Experience managing and developing professional teams; ability to motivate across diverse roles and disciplines.
• Strong financial and strategic acumen; comfort with P&L ownership.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue performance and set annual targets for Texas Executive Education.
• Grow corporate client base regionally, nationally, and internationally.
• Lead program managers, business development professionals, and operations staff.
• Collaborate with McCombs faculty and academic leadership to ensure programs reflect the School’s strengths.
