Job summary

Neara is seeking a Director, Customer Success to oversee a strategic portfolio of electric utilities across the United States. You will manage a team of 4-5 Customer Value Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers, driving multi-year enterprise software engagements from pilot to deployment and value realization.

You will act as a trusted advisor to utility executives, guiding complex software deployments and embedding Neara’s core solutions, including wildfire mitigation, resiliency, asset

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-year, enterprise software deployments.
• Background in Engineering, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
• Direct experience with electric utilities, energy companies, or infrastructure assets is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program delivery and long-term account success for enterprise electric utility customers.
• Lead and coach a team of 4–5 direct reports driving delivery excellence and resource allocation.
• Define ROI frameworks with utility leaders and map digital twin workflows to processes.
• Oversee data integration, custom scripting, and platform configuration within scope and timeline.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to feed customer insights into the roadmap and mitigate risks.
• Establish governance frameworks and maintain regular communication with executives and sponsors.
