Job summary

Cedarhurst of Salina seeks an Executive Director to lead the Community with responsibility for strategic oversight, daily operations, and long‑term performance. You will ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong financial results while building a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of management experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Applicable state licensure is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, posting ledgers, balancing and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including profit and loss, marketing, sales, and regulatory compliance.
• Make business decisions in the best interest of the company and staff.
• Supervise 3–5 managers over 30–50 employees across departments.
• Manage staffing schedules and ensure labor budget alignment.
• Provide direction and evaluation of each department.
• Foster a professional environment aligned with company values.
• Meet or exceed budgets and occupancy/ performance goals.
• Support sales through tours, follow-up, and weekly top-prospect meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety, including PPE if required.
• Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate staff; participate in required training.
• Engage with community groups and maintain external relationships.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families.
