Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions seeks an Executive Director, Regional BD to drive sales growth across an assigned territory. The role blends strategic farming with hunting, building tailored engagement plans and multi-functional solutions.

You will lead data-driven territory management, nurture executive relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver client-centric, value-driven engagements. Travel up to 40% will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or biopharma in a business development or strategic sales role.
• Proven success with complex B2B sales cycles and executive relationships.
• Strong consultative selling skills to uncover client needs and co-create solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven decision making with strong business acumen and strategy.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM; Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a comprehensive sales strategy for defined territory.
• Manages an optimized territory with data-informed prioritization.
• Engages and nurtures key client relationships with decision-makers.
• Leads multi-touchpoint sales strategies based on client needs and pipeline.
• Drives expansion playbooks including renewal opportunities and conversions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to co-develop client solutions.
• Represents the company at client meetings and industry events to build brand.
• Educates clients on differentiated value proposition and capabilities.
• Maintains territory performance reviews and CRM records.
